Day 1: Arrival-AmritsarMorning drive to Amritsar. On arrival check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure; enjoy recreational activities offered by hotel or visit local market. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Amritsar-Dharamsala
Our representative offers you an assisted transfer to Dharamshala. After reaching, check-in at your hotel. Also spelled as Dharamsala, it is a beautiful and serene hill town that shot to fame after His Holiness Dalai Lama took shelter here. Half-day sightseeing in Dharamshala including Dal Lake-placed amidst lush greenery the lake also has a Shiva temple on its banks, St. John's Church- an Anglican church built in 1852, it is dedicated to John The Baptist, Tibetan Monastery- for witnessing the worshipping rituals of the region and Bhagsu Nag Temple- an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Snake God, Nag and Lord Shiva. The rest of the day is at your own discretion. Partake in activities like shopping, trying out local delicacies and so on Stay overnight.
Day 3: Dharamsala - Manali
Early breakfast in the Morning adn then drive to Manali. Arrive Manali by the morning, Manali, according to legend, was born when the waters of The Great Deluge receded and the seventh Manu’s ark came to rest on a hillside in this valley. As the earth dried up there came up a place of breathtaking beauty which was named after the great sage. After breakfast visit to Vashisth Bath (Vasisht Springs is situated at Vasisht village, just 3 Km from Manali. Sulphur springs gush forth from the mountains here and these springs have medicinal properties. A bath complex with a restaurant caters to the tourists.)Temples dedicated to Sage Vasishta and Lord Rama are located nearby), Hadimba Temple (Hadimba Temple is one of the most important temples in the region. This four story wooden temple is located in the middle of a forest called the Dhungiri). Tibetan Monastery, Club House. Evening free for shopping on The Mall Road. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 4: Manali - Keylong (120km)
Explore all places in manali and drive to keylong and reach keylong and relax in the hotel
Day 5: Keylong - Sarchu (230km)
After breakfast in keylong Keylong, enroute crossing over Rohtang Pass (3980 m) and a few villages in Lahaul valley like Sissu, Gondla and confluence of Chandra & Bhaga rivers at Tandi. This route would provide you views of mountains, several streams/ waterfalls and hanging glaciers. After a short stop at Keylong continue drive to Srachu enroute visiting Jispa and crossing over Baralacha La 4800 m. Baralacha has a small lake – Surajtal which is considered to be source of river Bhaga. On arrival check in the camp accommodation.Overnight in camp.
Day 6: Sarchu-Leh
Early Morning breakfast and then Dept for a long journey to Leh crossing over Lachang La (5065 m) and Tanglang La (5360 m). On arrival check-in hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Leh - Khardongla pass - Leh (85 kms)
After breakfast at the hotel, brace yourself for the splendid drive over the mighty Khardung La – the 2nd highest motor able pass in the world at a height of 5602 M/ 18, 380 ft. Over the route, the road dramatically plunges, and Shyok and Nubra Rivers unfold magically. You move on via Diskit to reach the white sands of Hunder. After freshening up, visit the Diskit monastery, which is believed to be the largest and oldest monastery in Nubra valley, and enjoy the sunset. Head back to the Swiss cottages camps by late evening. Overnight in Nubra Camp Stay KHARDUNGLA PASS. Back to leh for night stay in hotel.
Day 8: Local Sightseeing - Leh (250kms/10hrs)
Today after breakfast leave for half day excursion to Hall of Fame. Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Magnetic Hill and Sangam View where Indus and Zanskar river meet. Back to hotel for night stay.
Day 9: Leh - Sham Valley
After Breakfast and visit Sham valley tour, enroute visit Gurudwara Pather Saheb , Indus- Zanskar confluence Sangam, Magnetic Hill, Kali Mandir & O/N dinner and over night stay at hotel .
Day 10: Leh - Uley/Alchi
After breakfast at the hotel, head to the Alchi to experience the fun of Rafting. Rafting starting point is a tea shop where you’ll meet your river guides who will take you through the ‘Grand canyon of the East’. After rafting expedition head to the cap where you’ll have an adventure style Lunch. Now continue your journey. Just before Saspul a road to the right takes you for your visit to the LIKIR MONASTERY. The name Likir derives from the word Lukhgil coiled snake as the site appears to be encircled by two great serpent spirits – Nanda and Taksako. Likir is one of the most active monasteries in the region. As you drive up to the monastery a recently installed colossal gilded image of the Maitreya out in the open is one of the most impressive sights in Ladakh. Also visit ALCHI MONASTERY. The complex of temples located within the village is the most celebrated of Ladakh’s monasteries and dates back to the 11th century. After visiting the Monastery you continue your drive to the hotel in Alchi. Arrive Alchi. Check into the Hotel. Overnight stay at Alchi.
Day 11: Uley/Alchi: Leh
After breakfast, check out and drive your journey towards Leh en route visiting , Sangam Confluence of Zanskar and Indus, Ladakh Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and Magnetic hill. Dinner and overnight at Leh.
Day 12: Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh - 290 Kms
Today after breakfast. check out from the Hotel and drive to Pangong Lake. driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 to 5 times a day. Then drive back to Leh for overnight stay in hotel.
Day 13: Leh Departure
After breakfast , transfer to Leh Airport for your onward/Return Journey.
